Good god. Your landlord is impossible.
I think she secretly hates me for complaining to her that the “landscapers” mowed over my entire freshly-planted garden last spring. They have butchered my garden a number of times since, so I took on an abandoning IDGAF attitude towards it, which is sad because I like having plants.
Or… maybe my garden was mowed over because she secretly hates me. I came back to town in the fall to find that her “fix” was ripping up more plants, pouring mulch down, and putting a large stepping stone where one of the nicer plants had been. RIP, garden.
