I picked up Oreo Cakesters last week out of some strange mix of disgust and curiosity. Soon thereafter a friend pointed me in the direction of making whoopie pies.

I started Googling and found a whoopie pie maker.

I’m looking at this thing and thinking, “I would just use this to make tiny, awesome savory sandwiches.”

Is this thing a gimmick? Should I pull the trigger?
