My mom taught me knitting left handed. She just reversed the steps and it really wasn’t that difficult for either her or I (she is right handed).
Yeah. It’s definitely reversible; I don’t know what the teacher’s deal was. I learned righty because I was given no choice. It sucked. I spent 3 hours making a 2” square mess. I got home and reversed what I learned in order to knit lefty, because it was the logical thing to do. It took me 10 minutes to get as far as that picture shows.
It’s one thing for a teacher to refuse to reverse it, but it’s a whole other to completely deny in-class that there is any other way to knit, after replying to my pre-signup email (which stated explicitly that I do not want to learn right-handed) to tell me she’s lefty and will help me learn.
