whether I’m bummed or relieved that the doubling spike in outbound flight prices from Austin in mid-to-late March (damn you / thank you, SXSW) may keep me grounded and passing on two 90th birthdays and a wedding where I’m friends with both halves of the couple.
There’s a fine line between excited and overwhelmed in my world.

might be crummy to make the drive, but what about flying in & out of san antonio or houston? it’ll cost you some gas money but might there might be savings there that’ll get you to those events cheaper
